“I do not believe in dieting or restricting calories. I assist clients in focusing on whole foods to promote long-term, healthy eating habits.”
Sarah was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. In 2005, she moved to Hong Kong where she resided for 11 years, working in Public Relations and as a freelance writer. By her mid 30s, after having two children, Sarah found that not only had her priorities changed dramatically, she had also become frustrated with frequent illnesses. For support, she turned to nutritionists and functional medicine practitioners for comprehensive lab testing and dietary changes. She was so inspired by the immense improvement in her overall health and well-being that she embarked on a career change - completing her Holistic Nutrition program via distance education with CSNN in 2016.
In 2017, Sarah moved her family from Hong Kong to Bali, Indonesia where she first began seeing Nutrition clients of her own. Practising for three years, mainly in Ubud and Canggu, Sarah conducted in-home consults working with long-time expats and travellers from around the globe to improve their diet and lifestyle while abroad. Upon moving to Whistler in 2019, Sarah began working almost exclusively on-line, supporting international clients from California to South Africa.
With a focus on digestive health, intestinal function, hormone balancing, and pediatric nutrition, Sarah supports clients with a wide range of diets through whole foods, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle changes. Sarah holds an undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Victoria. From this field of study, she incorporates ancestral and environmental factors into her nutritional protocols.
In her spare time, Sarah can be found hiking with her dog to One Duck lake, or skiing on Whistler Mountain. She is an avid reader and lover of dark chocolate and Chinese tea.

Anita D’Onghia is a dedicated loving individual who sees beauty in everything that surrounds her. Over the past 20 years she has spent most of her time learning about the human body and how it is all related to many different spectrums of health and healing. She studied Human Kinetics extensively at the University of Ottawa and graduated with an honors degree in a Bachelor of Science. She continued her venture with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where she graduated as a registered holistic nutritionist. Within those years she grew a greater understanding of the bodies chemistry on a cellular level and the connection it has with all of its’ systems. Anita found herself using such information to analyze the holistic avenues and connect it with her studies such as her studies with Reiki. Through this new found knowledge she has been able to understand and conceptualize holistic modalities to a deeper level. Anita has expanded her awareness with MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy and has become a practicing Registered Massage Therapist. As a massage therapist her goal is to work closely with the tissue, releasing areas of tension using therapeutic touch. She is continually furthering her education with craniosacral therapy and uses it predominately in her practice. Anita’s philosophy with treatment is to treat each client individually tapering each session to the clients needs and goals.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. Professionally I am a Registered Practical Nurse and a Registered Massage Therapist. Personally, I am a people person, fitness enthusiast, and a bit of a chocoholic.
I’ve been an athlete since the first time I stepped onto the soccer field when I was 4 years old and have always had an interest in health and wellness. Nearing the end of high school, I became interested in a massage therapy program. Then my world was turned upside down when my dad suddenly passed away. I wasn’t ready to pursue post-secondary education, so I stayed a fifth year in high school and played basketball. I was so interested in sports that I registered for a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College.
At Sheridan I played varsity basketball almost daily while every other moment was spent studying anatomy and physiology. Two years into the rigorous four-year program, I realized the AT life wasn’t for me. I thought long and hard about what made me feel truly happy. I wanted to be needed, I wanted to help people. So I took my anatomy and physiology background and applied it to practical nursing.
I’ve been an RPN since 2015. I’ve worked in long-term care, retirement, hospital (mainly in ER), and currently in the community. I absolutely love being a nurse. I believe it’s my calling to care for people.
In 2018, while still nursing full time, I returned to school to begin, again, my journey toward becoming an RMT. Due to COVID-19, my clinical hours, graduation and my registration process were delayed. But finally, here I am.
I am very excited to incorporate all my studies and my passion for health into one fabulous job (alongside my nursing) where I can care, advocate and treat those in my community who care about their health.

Robin’s practice is focused on client-centred care, listening to the patient’s concerns, and listening to the body - diagnosing using a combination of pulse taking, looking at the tongue coat, and palpation (touch) to see where the body is out of harmony. She is fascinated by the intelligence of our bodies and is always seeking the root concern of what is manifesting in symptoms and pain.
She has a gentle but effective approach and practices a blend of TCM and Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture. Each person is unique and comes in with their own health (and life) history. Each treatment given resembles the individualities of each person. The patient gets to experience in real-time pressure pain disappearing or fading within minutes of needle insertion. Giving immediate feedback to both the patient and the practitioner. The treatment is also fluid and dynamic – as things shift and change, the treatment changes.
Robin continues to check for positive changes as when they occur, it allows the treatment to move forward. Changing needle placement as needed or adding gentle moxibustion (mugwort herb) warming. Robin completed the three-year acupuncture program with honours. She also has studied a variety of other courses in university including a few semesters of kinesiology, and elective courses in mental health nursing, and human resources. Robin has completed continuing education in Kiiko Style acupuncture (KMS), obstetrical acupuncture, and pelvic floor dysfunction and pain. She is also a member of the OBAA (the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association. The association is dedicated to promoting the highest level of safety and knowledge in the field, along with reproductive justice and equity for all.).
She is passionate about treating menstrual symptoms, pain, mental and emotional health, post-operative recovery as well as pregnancy and postpartum. Robin also enjoys guiding clients with accessible lifestyle and food therapy advice, as well as other tools for support physically and emotionally between sessions.

Dr. Richard is an Irishman from Scotland who has moved to Whistler to join forces with Dr. Mark to bring their combined wealth of pediatric knowledge to the Sea-to-Sky area. They graduated together in 2005 from the prestigious Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in the UK.
He owns and runs Alba Chiropractic, a multi-discipline chiropractic clinic in beautiful Scotland with a focus on paediatrics and elite sports. He has developed it to be one of the UK’s busiest paediatric chiropractic clinics, and still mentors graduates who come to learn the specialist techniques used in pregnancy and paediatric care, helping to build a healthy brain and body connection right from the start of life.
Dr. Richard believes this brain-body relationship is also fundamental to leading a healthier, happier and more connected life. Whether you are a weekend warrior or an elite athlete aiming for that extra 1% he uses a functional brain-based approach to treat the underlying causes of an injury and not just the symptoms that appear on the surface. Allowing you to live not only with less or no pain but to reach the best of your potential.
He treats using a diverse range of techniques, including traditional chiropractic adjusting but also other conservative (or dynamic!) methods depending on what suits the client best in that moment.
You may see him falling off his mountain bike or skis anywhere around the Whistler area as he tries to dust off the skills of former times!

Chris Parsons has been practicing Acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Craniosacral therapy in Whistler since 2006.
In his fourth year of TCM study, Chris spent his final semester and practicum requirements working under many highly experienced doctors at Tong Ren hospital in Beijing, China. There he gained a deep appreciation for the practical skills used daily, to great effect, in the hospital setting in China. These practices are very useful for today’s modern injuries and health complaints and people are finding Acupuncture to be an effective path to recovery and part of a health maintenance routine.
Along with acupuncture and the hands-on aspect of his healing practice, Chris teaches his clients how to balance their own health and prevent injury and dis-ease with classes and seminars in Tai Chi and Qi Gong. These practices have proven to be helpful across a broad variety of demographics; from educational Institutions, First Nations, Seniors activity groups, corporate and private clients and of course athletes. With over 30 years of study and practice in the martial and healing arts, including a combined four years spent in Japan and China, Chris believes that the combination of self-treatment through daily movement practices such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong and the ever-popular Yoga, along with hands-on treatments when necessary, is the path to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
Chris’s personal history with sports injuries and pain management come from his years searching for relief from chronic lower back pain as he spent most of his 20’s dealing with it. A relentless pursuit of relief was finally found from Acupuncture and the tools of Traditional Chinese Medicine (cupping, scraping therapy “gua sha”and massage) and especially from building a daily practice of the coordinated and relaxing movement practices of TaiChi and QiGong!
Passionate about helping others find their highest potential in health and life, Chris strives to provide the tools and methods for his clients to expand their understanding and trust in the wisdom and natural healing potential of the body.

Originally from New Brunswick, Jamie moved to British Columbia in 1992, eventually discovering Whistler. He used it as a home base to travel the world while sharing his passion of teaching Scuba diving. An accident in Australia drew Jamie back to his psychology degree roots with the curiosity of how we could reach altered states of mind naturally. Upon returning in 2010, he immediately attended The Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts and Sciences to become a Clinical Hypnotherapist. Since then, Jamie has been privately practicing for 14 years, guiding hundreds of local clients through releasing blockages, instilling self-confidence, and creating awareness and flexibility of mind. He has now chosen to expand his Clinical Hypnotherapy practice to join the amazing team at Whistler Wellness, offering 3 private sessions on Sundays.
Typically, your first session is basically an introduction to hypnosis; sort of a training session. You get to know each other, express what you wish to accomplish, and then he will guide you into a deep state of relaxation. Once you are there, he suggests positive affirmations to your subconscious. The entire session takes about two hours. Successive sessions could entail suggestive dictation, parts therapy, cording, regression, or perhaps Advanced Spiritual Hypnosis. Typically, two to five sessions are required, depending on the nature of the issue.
Beyond the clinic, you may find Jamie floating through the mountains on two wheels or a board, playing in the water, hiking the valley trails, or globetrotting with his wife and best friend of 20 years.
Please note: Jamie is not a Registered Clinical/Therapeutic Counsellor or Registered Psychologist so his hypnotherapy services are not covered by extended health insurance plans.

I was born and raised in Northern BC, and my health journey started as a young active kid. I grew up dancing for 13 years and had a few injuries along the way. I also grew up in an athletic family, watching people go through major traumatic injuries and I knew that I wanted to be in a career where I can help people similar to me and similar to the people I was surrounded by.
Out of high school, I initially studied Kinesiology, then I got into Athletic Therapy. After a year in Victoria in the AT program I wasn’t seeing the the benefits to my personal health with AT treatments as I hoped. After suffering with a chronic pain injury I was on the hunt for something that helped chronic pain suffers. Then one day I heard about Manual Osteopathy and how it significantly decreases chronic pain. Once I started studying manual osteopathy as well as began to receive treatments, I found my chronic pain starting to decrease. I also noticed how much trauma I stored in my body and how much was being released through osteopathic treatments, even my mental health was significantly increasing because I was processing and removing trauma. I would leave my treatments feeling lighter and like all of a sudden I had so much space to fill in my body physically and mentally with positive energy.
Once I graduated with my Diploma of Osteopathy Manual Practitioner in 2017 I jumped right into my Bachelors, then graduated with my Doctorate in Osteopathy (European practice) in January 2022. Right now I currently am just expanding my Cranial Osteopathy/Cranial Sacral Therapy knowledge through the Upledger Institute, but I do plan on completing another degree within in the next 4 years.
Osteopathy was originally founded because Dr. Still believed that you could heal the body without the use of drugs and surgeries. He created the 6 main philosophies of Osteopathic medicine which I base my practice on today. I use multiple hands on techniques to aid your body into healing and optimal functioning. One technique in particular is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). This is the hands on treatment manual osteopathic practitioners use. It is gentle and non-invasive and focuses on finding the root cause of your pain. Using these techniques we can treat a wide range of dysfunction in the body including respiratory disorders, such as asthma, as well as irritable bowel syndrome and migraines/headaches. We look at all the body systems including visceral, neurological, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal which is what makes manual osteopaths stand out.
In my spare time you can find me outside exploring our beautiful backyard. If I am not working I am either on the trails or on the lake. I can’t wait to work with you along your health journey. There is nothing more rewarding than helping people become their healthiest and happiest self.
Registered Manual Osteopath Member of the Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine (ACMA)
